MERLION range of goods now includes bulky household and climate appliances

MERLION Company, largest IT distributor in the RF, announces diversification - its catalogue of goods now includes bulky household appliances and climate appliances (air-conditioners, fans, water heaters).

That is performed within the framework of the new direction of business development, namely distribution of household appliances. Since December 2009, the goods portfolio apart from computers, digital equipment, components, networking and office equipment includes new product categories: “cell phones”, “audio and video equipment”, “household appliances” (house and kitchen appliances, and those for self care). “MERLION Company took a good start in the new market” – says Tatiana Andreeva, the company’s business development director. “The sales volume of the goods in the category of household appliances during first four months of selling increased 7-fold (in terms of money) and considerably exceeded planned figures”.

Currently MERLION offers its partners (in total there are more than 3100 in the RF) bulky household appliances, namely refrigerators, washing and drying machines from world leading manufacturers, such as Bosh, Candy, LG, Samsung, Sharp, Zanussi, as well as Ariston and Indesit (these will be available in the nearest future).

Speaking of climate appliances, the MERLION’s range of goods already includes conditioners and fans.

First batches of water heaters are expected to be shipped in April as well as dishwashing machines, gas and electric stoves.
