MERLION was honored with a special “Lenovo Strategic Partner Award”.

MERLION –“Lenovo Strategic Partner” Lenovo Company conferred a special honor to MERLION Company - the “Lenovo Strategic Partner Award”. Chen Shaopeng, senior vice president of Lenovo, presented the award to MERLION during the first official visit of Lenovo’s top management to Russia (Moscow, June 21, 2010).

“We are grateful to MERLION Company for its invaluable contribution in developing Lenovo business in Russia. With this award, we honor those partners who have achieved the performance results in 2009 financial year. Therefore we appreciate the support that the MERLION Company has given us and look forward to continue our mutually beneficial cooperation in order to achieve excellent results in the nearest future,” said Arthur Wei, Lenovo’s general director for Russia and the CIS countries.

As the leading Russian IT distributor, MERLION has received this award for high sales volumes and efficient promotion of Lenovo products in the territory of the Russian Federation. The choice of MERLION was also influenced by the great potential of the company’s sales distribution channels that cover not only B2B market (more than 3,100 partner companies throughout the Russian Federation) but also the B2C market which the company entered through its own retail outlets, such as the national “POSITRONICA” electronics retail chain including 180 sales outlets in 150 cities and the CITILINK computer discounter chain.

It is worth noting that MERLION has beenan “Authorized Lenovo Distributor” since July 2008. The company’s sales catalogue offers a wide rage of Lenovo solutions – laptops, desktop computers and TFT monitors.
