MERLION became the official distributor of Toshiba

Russia, Moscow, August, 23, 2010 MERLION, the leading Russian IT-distributor and computer systems subdivision of Toshiba Europe GmbH (www.toshiba.ru) inform of signing of a distributor agreement. Having become Toshiba distributor, MERLION gets the right to sell the whole range of Toshiba notebooks.

Notebooks is one of the most fast-growing segments in the Russian IT-market, our forecast of the notebook market volume for 2010 is about 5 million units, - Tatiana  Andreyeva, MERLION’s Business Development Director notes. – After signing of the agreement with Toshiba, MERLION has all main notebook manufacturers in its portfolio; the utmost wide range of Mobile PC becomes available to our partners. Toshiba was the first company to create a notebook as a device, they have been the leaders in the market for a long time, and they are still popular and demanded among the end users now. We are sure of fruitful cooperation between our companies.

Toshiba’s choice is determined by MERLION’s possession of the extended partnership network in many regions of Russia, effective cooperation schemes with resellers and wide experience in the market. Thus, today MERLION’s partnership network contains more than 3,100 companies.
