The leading Russian IT-distributor, MERLION, and the American manufacturer of computer components, Supermicro, signed a distribution agreement.
Moscow, November 8, 2010 The leading Russian IT distributor, MERLION, and the American manufacturer of computer components, Supermicro have signed a distribution agreement. The official distributor status entitles MERLION sell and promote Supermicro server equipment in the Russian Federation. The distribution agreement has been concluded for a period of 1 year with possibility of further prolongation, shall take effect from November 2010, and is applicable for the whole range of solutions of the American manufacturer.
Supermicro was founded in 1993. It is located in San Jose (California, the USA) on the space of 45,000 sq.ft in the center of the Silicon Valley. The main profile of Supermicro is the design and manufacture of motherboards, cabinets, power supply units, cooling systems and design of server platforms. The first lot of server equipment of the new supplier has arrived at MERLION warehouse this week: platforms, cabinets, motherboards, accessories.
