MERLION starts supplying Iomega network storage

Iomega, a leading innovative company in the field of digital storage systems and content management, working as a part of EMC Corporation (NYSE: EMC) has announced the beginning of sales of a new line of network-attached storage series IX and PX for SMB and remote offices. In the Russian market, the devices are supplied by MERLION - the official distributor for Iomega.

The new solutions for the StorCenter network-attached storage were designed based on corporate-level technologies of the EMC company. The solutions include advanced, easy to use and affordable data storage systems, security maintenance, and content sharing.

• StorCenter™ ix2-200 and ix4-200d, Cloud Edition
• StorCenter™ px4-300d and px6-300d
• StorCenter™ px4-300r network storage array
• StorCenter™ px12-350r network storage array
• Iomega Personal Cloud – a network computing architecture with a pending patent application, connecting StorCenter desktop hardware storage with other computers and/or devices via the Internet.

It is worth noting that MERLION is the official distributor for Iomega in Russia since February 2010. In addition to the new line of network storages, the product portfolio of MERLION includes Iomega external hard drives, Iomega server options, as well as Iomega media players.
