The seminar participants learned about Symantec’s new products and MERLION’s support for its customers.
The seminar on October 27 presented Symantec products to MERLION’s Moscow partners.
At the seminar Symantec was represented by the partner managers Maxim Prakhov and Vasily Kovalev. The company’s specialty is system security, data storage and systems management solutions that provide protection and data management capabilities to corporate and home users.
In his speech, Vasily Kovalev noted unique advantages of Symantec’s products, which include maximum functionality, unifiable software standards, multi-platform support and hardware independence. He also set out the details of the partner and bonus programs.
Maxim Prakhov continued the seminar by outlining Symantec’s SMB solutions, including those with backup and system restore capabilities. He also described a new Symantec product, Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) 12. The product features advanced protection technology (INSIGHT), improved virtual environment protection and unified management console. The new version’s additional features are high scanning speed and low memory usage.
MERLION was represented by Artemy Kharlamov, business development manager of Symantec. He spoke about MERLION’s partner support in promoting Symantec products to customers.
The official part of the meeting was followed by a buffet dinner that presented an opportunity for discussion in informal atmosphere.
