MERLION will supply ZTE telecom and networking equipment to the Russian market.
MERLION and ZTE Corporation (http://zte.ru), one of the world’s leading telecom equipment manufacturer and network solutions provider, announce the conclusion of a distribution agreement that will make MERLION the only official distributor of the complete ZTE product line in Russia. The agreement came into effect on October 1, 2011 and gives MERLION the status of “Official ZTE distributor in the Russian Federation”.
The signing of this agreement became possible in July 2011, when MERLION had acquired a distribution business, the Verysell Group; it is a logical step within the company’s strategic framework of VAD Enterprise development.
Working with Russia’s largest distributor will enable us to increase our sales, improve the partner channel and become a fully fledged member of the Russian telecom market, - notes Zhao Zhenning, ZTE’s chief manager in Russia.
The Official Distributor status will allow MERLION to offer its partners high-tech ZTE equipment at moderate prices. The first hardware batch is soon to arrive to the store. A demo laboratory will be established at MERLION by the end of this year, so ZTE equipment will be available for testing to its partners.
