MERLION is the “Official distributor of Huawei Device”

MERLION, the Russia's leading IT distributor, and Huawei Device, a division of Huawei Corporation, have signed a partnership agreement giving MERLION the status of the “Official distributor of Huawei Device in Russia”.

The new agreement has no expiration date, came into force in December 2011 and entitles MERLION to directly supply the full range of the vendor’s solutions to the Russian market.

The parties evaluate the signing of a distribution agreement as an important stage in the development of partnerships. The vendor considers MERLION as the strongest sales channel with 20 years experience in the Russian market of high technologies. In MERLION the are confident that the Huawei Device devices will be in demand by partners (it is worth noting that the number of MERLION’s partners is 5000), because the products of this manufacturer have already started to gain market share around the world and, according to experts, the Russian market is no exception. The signed agreement for the partner of MERLION is all the advantages of a direct supplier of assortment, logistics, pricing, financial conditions, sales support.

As an official distributor of Huawei Device, MERLION has already started supplying the vendor solutions to the market. The first batch of Huawei Hi-Universe E369 Series 3G-modems has already arrived at the distributor warehouse. These modems are the most compact USB-modems in the world, built on an innovative Intel XMM-6260 chipset; they provide high-speed Internet access (21 Mbit/s); support multiple communication standards including UMTS; are equipped with a magnetic cap. Thanks to their small size and stylish design, Hi-Universe series modems are ideal for use with ultrabooks and such notebooks as Macbook Air.

In conclusion, it is worth noting that to date MERLION is so far the only Russian distributor entitled to carry out direct supply of Huawei Series Hi-Universe modems.
