MERLION and RDTEX announce strategic partnership

MERLION and RDТЕХ have signed a strategic partnership agreement aimed at integrating the resources and competences of both companies in order to provide full support to partners operating Oracle software and hardware-software solutions. Based on the agreement, the partners will obtain all the logistic, financial, technical and expert services required for successful business in the Oracle line.

MERLION has many years of expertise in distributing Oracle hardware products (ex - Sun Microsystems), which has been significantly enhanced by the acquisition of Verysell Distribution in July 2011. After the merger, MERLION became on the largest partners supplying Oracle Hardware to Russia. Supported by the acquired competences and the extended partner network, MERLION decided to actively enter the segment of Oracle software solutions and hardware-software complexes, which resulted in the signing of the above agreement.

Within the framework of the partnership, RDTEX has allocated resources in the relevant lines of activity, organizing the transfer of Oracle distribution business to MERLION. As a result of the above, Oracle partners will have access to all the services obtained by joining the efforts and expertise accumulated for many years in Oracle Software line by RDTEX and in Oracle Hardware line by MERLION.

For twenty years, RDTEX has been among the most prominent companies in the sphere of technological consulting and expert support of Oracle software. These aspects have always been important while choosing a partner company. Within the framework of the new alliance, Oracle partners will still be able to obtain the technological experience of RDTEX in regular scope and mode, without altering the established forms of successful interaction.

In its turn, MERLION brings into the partnership its long-term experience and competences in VAD software and hardware-software solutions as well as powerful logistic and financial resources of the largest Russian IT distributor. Integration of the two companies' resources will provide partners with a fundamentally new level of business development capabilities in the Oracle line.
