MERLION and Pantum signed a distribution agreement in Russia

17th of June, 2013, Moscow — The first Chinese manufacturer of Pantum laser printers and multifunction devices (www.pantum.ru) and MERLION (www.merlion.com), the leading Russian IT distributor, have announced signing of an agreement, according to which MERLION receives the status of an Authorized Distributor of Pantum within the Russian Federation.

The signed agreement continues the development of the successful partnership of both companies. In March 2013 MERLION became the first authorized distributor of Pantum in the Republic of Kazakhstan. From June the Moscow office of MERLION starts direct supplies of the Pantum printing equipment also to the Russian market. The agreement has already came into effect and involves the whole product portfolio of the vendor.

The partnership with MERLION is an important strategic step of Pantum to expand its business in Russia. The regional director of Pantum in Russia and the CIS countries Victor Zhang says: "The main Russian clients of Pantum are corporations, business-structures, IT companies and retailers. And that is MERLION who effectively deals with all these channels. Our collaboration will consist in supplies of the whole range of Pantum printers and multifunction devices which provide along with the lower total cost of ownership the high performance and profitability level regarding equipment and consumables. We hope that the end users and the partners of MERLION will use all advantages of our devices to the full".

The relationship between MERLION and Pantum is based on common striving to efficient growth in the Russian market and, according to Mikhail Slavinsky, the distribution director of the Full-Range Distribution division of MERLION, "will boost promotion of this vendor's products in Russia".
