MERLION Becomes Distributor of HUAWEI Enterprise in Russia

MERLION, a major Russian IT distributor, and HUAWEI Enterprise, a branch of HUAWEI, a global leader in the field of ICT solutions development, have signed a distributorship agreement for supply of a line of solutions by HUAWEI Enterprise for the Russian corporate market. Due to the agreement, MERLION has considerably expanded its portfolio, carrying on with the efficient development of its key direction – VAD distribution. As a result, certified partners will have access to IP and Network Security solutions for corporate customers, solutions for corporate optic networks and broadband access networks, server equipment, data storage systems, and videoconferencing systems. Following the appropriate trainings and certification, specialists from MERLION Engineering Technical Center will be ready to provide full technical and engineering support at all stages, from solution development and preparation of specifications to commissioning.

‘The second stage of our relations with HUAWEI Technologies enabled us to expand the VAD component in our business portfolio thrpugh the significant expansion of the product range in ‘heavy’ solutions for the corporate section,’ says Anton Lukyanov, Distribution Director of VAD Division at MERLION. ‘We are sure that the vendor’s equipment will continue to be in demand among our partners, while we, in turn, will use our best efforts to deliver to the channel the information on the qualitative advantages of HUAWEI solutions and to encourage promotion of the vendor’s technologies with added value, such as service, presale, consulting, etc.’

It is worth mentioning that this is not the first example of cooperation between the two market leaders. Last February, MERLION signed a partner agreement with another subdivision of the corporation, i.e., HUAWEI Devices.
