HIKVISION and MERLION have signed a distribution agreement according to which MERLION will represent the whole line of the manufacturer’s products to the Russian market.
MERLION signed a distribution agreement with HIKVISION (www.hikvision.com), according to which the company will start supplying the Russian IT market with video surveillance systems of this globally-known manufacturer. The agreement covers virtually the whole product line for this device type, including IP video cameras, IP video servers, video capture boards, as well as digital, hybrid and network digital recorders.
Partners will be able to order any model from the above merchandize lines from MERLION’s warehouse. They will have access to the whole set of services provided within the scope of Value Added Distribution strategy (distribution of solutions with additional services). In particular, they will be able to use the advice of professionals from MERLION Engineering Technical Center.
Powerful video surveillance systems made by HIKVISION, a major producer of the above, are popular with consumers who wish to own reliable and convenient security systems equipped with digital IP cameras and other necessary equipment. The after-sale services provided by MERLION will make the above products even more attractive for potential customers.
Currently, the CCTV market, including the segment of video surveillance solutions, has one of the fastest growth rates, which is confirmed by the research conducted by various analytical agencies. In its turn, HIKVISION is a leader on the above market, holding the first position in the video recorders segment at 14.20% of the global market and the third position in the category of surveillance cameras at 9.70% for several years in a row.
All of the above makes the representatives of both companies optimistic about the cooperation prospects. According to Anton Lukyanov, Distribution Director of VAD Division at MERLION, ‘video surveillance systems are now in great demand at the IT market; that is why we are very happy about the agreement signed with HIKVISION.
