MERLION is the only Russian company that has been awarded by TCL, one of the largest Asian manufacturers of consumer electronics.
MERLION, a Russian broadline distributor, has been awarded by ТCL, one of the largest Chinese manufacturers of consumer electronics. The award acknowledged the distributor’s strategic role as one of the most important TCL’s partners in the world.
The award was presented at a global partner conference that took place on October 11, 2014 in Hefei, China. MERLION was the only Russian company that participated and was awarded at the event.
Let us recall that TCL, established in 1981, is one of China’s largest companies. Currently, TCL Corporation includes four business units - TCL Multimedia Holdings, TCL Communication Holdings, China Star Optoelectronics Technology and TCL Home Appliances Group.
MERLION has been TCL’s exclusive distributor from 2011. Currently, only climate appliances of this manufacturer are available in the Russian market, but the distributor is planning to launch sales of TCL-branded TV-sets in the near future.
It was the first time that MERLION was awarded by TCL during the period of their cooperation.
