The Russia’s largest broadline distributor has replenished its portfolio with the world-famous TCL television sets.
One of the world’s largest producers of household appliances and electronics, TCL, signed an agreement on exclusive distribution of its television sets with MERLION.
For several decades, TCL has been a successful participant of the television sets market. The company has its own research and development centers in the USA, Europe and Asia, as well as several production facilities in different continents. TLC holds many patents for its own engineering designs. TCL is proud of its China Star Factory, China’s largest facility producing A-class panels.
The company has been known as an OEM vendor for over 30 years – the components developed by the manufacturer are used for assembling many А- and В-brands’ TVs. According to 2013 results, television sets of TCL’s own brand are world’s no. 3 in turnover. The number of TV-sets produced last year reached 18 million.
This year, at the IFA 2014 exhibition TCL presented one of the latest innovation solutions in the area of TV: the first ever 110-inch TV-set with a curved 4K Ultra HD screen, as well as a TV-set with a 55-inch quantum dot OLED screen whose brightness, chromaticity and contrast exceeding those of a LED TV-set by 30%, and whose body is slimmer than that of a cellular phone.
The first shipment of TCL’s LED TV-sets with sizes ranging from 24 to 55 inches,tailored to the Russian market, is arriving at MERLION warehouse already in the next couple of weeks. In order to attract consumers, an exclusive bright packaging has been designed. Warranty maintenance of TCL’s equipment is provided by 260 service centers located throughout the Russian Federation.
