MERLION and ACCO Brands signed a distribution agreement.
MERLION, the Russia's largest broadline distributor, and ACCO Brands, the worldwide manufacturer of office products, announced the signing of a distribution agreement which entered into force in December 2014.
The sales of ACCO Brands in 2013 amounted to two billion dollars. The company is headquartered in Lincolnshire, Illinois, USA. ACCO Brands products are produced on all continents, and are sold in more than 100 countries worldwide.
MERLION will present on the Russian market the following ACCO Brands trademarks and product categories: GBC (bookbinding, laminating machines and their supplies) and Rexel (shredders and cutters).
Each brand of ACCO Brands is a leader in their respective categories among the equipment and supplies for bookbinding, laminating, stapling, hole punching, storage, planning, presentations, as well as products for laptops and their physical safety.
With a wide range of office products, ACCO Brands is constantly investing in the study of the needs of people at work in order to fulfill its mission - to provide advanced products of its brands. One of the latest developments, which brought the award "Technology of the Year" to the manufacturer of office products at the PaperWorld exhibition (Frankfurt, Germany), is Rexel shredders with automatic destruction of the paper stack.
MERLION considers signing of the agreement as an important stage in the development of the office area which is very successful and promising for the company.
Since December 2014, ACCO Brands products are available for order from the MERLION warehouses.
