The partnership of the largest Russian distributor and the leading Chinese server producer starts from a platinum status.
On the 6th of February of the current year, MERLION, the largest Russian VAD distributor, signed a distributor agreement with Inspur – a corporation which is the leading Chinese producer of server equipment and a cloud service operator, and started collaboration with the vendor in the status of a “platinum partner”.
Inspur was established in 1945 (as a joint-stock state enterprise) and for a long time was oriented primarily to the domestic market. Today, having achieved significant success in China and a number of other regions, Inspur intends to actively expand its geographic footprint. Russia becomes one of the main priorities in Inspur’s development. When choosing partners in this region that is new for the corporation, the Chinese producer focuses on the leaders who have a branched channel and who are ready for a long-term collaborative work, including work in the area of promotion of complex IT systems.
MERLION, which in recent years has been actively developing the VAD area, obtained the prestigious platinum status from the vendor not only due to its well-developed network of partners and world-class logistics, but also owing to the availability of significant resources for testing of IT solutions and demonstration of the possibilities of various innovations. In MERLION, these purposes are achieved due to, among other things, demonstration stands and a demo laboratory already containing the latest equipment from the leading world companies. In the near future, the MERLION’s demo laboratory is expected to be supplemented with advanced technologies from Inspur.
