The Russian company receives Samsung’s award for Contribution to Corporate Distribution.

Samsung Called MERLION the Best B2B Partner Samsung has acknowledged Russia’s largest broadline distributor MERLION’s achievements with a gold star of its Top Partner Awards in the “Best B2B Partners. For Contribution to Corporate Distribution” nomination.

The award was given during Samsung Business Awards: New Horizons, an annual event where the Korean manufacturer celebrates its most successful B2B partners. Only the largest and best-performing companies in the STEP program (Samsung Team of Empowered Partners) are eligible for a Top Partner Awards star. This elite corps includes distributors, system integrators, solution makers, corporate resellers, and telco firms.

This year winners were congratulated by the new President of the Headquarters of Samsung CIS, Kim S Tak. In his speech he underscored the importance of partners to Samsung as a whole and to its corporate division in particular. Andrey Tikhonov, Corporate Sales Director of the Russian branch of Samsung Electronics, handed MERLION the award. The partner was represented by Alexey Abramov, Chairman of the Board of Directors, MERLION.

“Samsung is one of the top 3 most recognizable brand names we have in our portfolio spanning 450 brands,” said Alexey Abramov. “It is a key, long-term partner. We have been working together for 17 years and are constantly putting out more of Samsung’s products. It is good to see that the relationship is getting even stronger and that Samsung values our ability to bring B2B solutions to customers.”
