VMware named MERLION the Value-Add Distributor of the year

On April 3rd, 2015, at the VMware partner conference which took place at the Ritz-Carlton hotel, MERLION was pronounced the winner in the category “Value-Add Distributor of the Year”. The corresponding award, signed by the head of the VMware office in Russia and CIS, Aleksandr Vasilenko, was solemnly presented to the MERLION representatives.

It’s worth noting that though at last year’s partner conference VMware awarded various titles to all its Russian distributors, in 2014 the only company to be especially mentioned based on the results of its work was MERLION – for the successes of its VAD division. The fact of the presentation of such an award emphasizes once again that the VAD distribution and the distributor’s maximum support of the partners’ project work are a priority for VMware. On the other hand, the status of the Value-Add distributor of the year awarded to MERLION confirms that the company is successfully implementing its policy directed towards active development of the VAD sector. It is currently the fastest growing sector of the whole MERLION sector, with its share in total turnover being 25%.
