The MERLION's product portfolio has grown and now includes the products of CommVault, one of the leading suppliers of software solutions for information management and data protection.
MERLION, the largest broadline distributor on the Russian market and one of the leading players in the VAD-distribution market, and CommVault, one of the leaders in the market of software for information management and data protection, signed a distribution agreement.
As the official distributor, MERLION starts sales of the entire CommVault software product line in Russia. MERLION will offer its partners (about 3,000 system integrators) the unified platform CommVault Simpana® for the protection, management and access to all enterprise information. Simpana is the solution based on a unified architecture and providing the benefits of a truly global approach to data management.
The flexibility and scalability of the Simpana platform allows businesses to reduce risks, improve operational efficiency, cut costs and increase the value of business information. Simpana has a modular architecture and is comprised of individually licensed modules to analyse, replicate, protect, archive and search data. The software features, tightly integrated within the platform and designed for physical and virtual environment, help protect and recover data, manage costs and complexity and gain better insight into corporate information. Simpana easily adapts to the unique needs of any corporate customer.
Sales of all CommVault solutions in the Russian market will include support provided by highly skilled professionals of the MERLION Engineering Technical Center. In addition to working with servers and DSS, their range of services includes virtualization and data migration, installation, testing, pre-sale and after-sale service.
