POSITRONICA summed up the results of financial year 2015

Revenue of the retailer has grown by 11% and has amounted to 10 billion rubles.

The federal network of electronic stores POSITRONICA, which has been operating on the retail market since 2006 and is successfully developing according to the franchising scheme, has summed up the results of financial year 2015. During this period 34 stores have been opened and currently the network has more than 150 outlets in more than 130 cities of the Russian Federation. The revenue of POSITRONICA network has grown by 11% as compared to 2014 and has amounted to 10 billion rubles that corresponds to the planned indicators. The revenue has grown in the crisis year due to successful implementation of the retailer’s strategy related to the retail network development in the regions which are of top-priority for the company (SZFO (the Northwestern Federal District), SFO (the Siberian Federal District) and TsFO (the Central Federal District)) and related to expansion of variety of goods and services offered to the customers. Thus, for example, many of the franchisee partners have expanded variety of items available in their stores with baby goods and some partners have expanded the delivery area in their regions.

According to the sales results in 2015, the most popular commodity groups have become Laptops, TV-sets and Smartphones which have amounted to 35% of the total sales (16%, 13% and 8% respectively). The TOP-10 manufacturers have remained unchanged: Acer, ASUS, HP, Intel, Lenovo, LG, Philips, Samsung, Seagate, Toshiba (in alphabetical order). POSITRONICA network has its own “old residents”-stores in Apatity, Vladikavkaz, Vologda, Naberezhnye Chelny, Novorossiysk, Sochi and others which operate almost from the very beginning of the project that has been lasting already for ten years. Nowadays, the leader by the number of full-scale stores is Biysk (3 stores) and by the number of POINT Internet orders pickup points - Moscow (5 points).

For the next two years POSITRONICA lays down ambitious plans - to open stores (full-scale and POINT) in all cities with population over 20,000 people and to strengthen its positions on the e-commerce market. “We will keep offering Russian consumers computer, digital and household equipment of high quality at competitive prices, - says Sergey Krbashyan, the General Manager of POSITRONICA network, - but now we are going to pay greater attention to development and popularization of online sales throughout the country. The share of Internet sales in 2015 reached 15% from the total turnover and a year after we will make effort at least to double it”.

Today all stores of the network are connected to the Internet platform positronica.ru, and, moreover, the franchise package includes this option for each partner coming into the POSTRONICA project . This year the retailer makes preparations for launching a new site which will start work in the third quarter.
