MERLION, one of the leaders of Russian VAD-distribution, acts as the partner of the Forum “Internet of Things” viz. the largest specialized event dedicated to the principle lines of Digital Economy development in the Russian Federation. The distributor shall hold the workshop “Internet of Things for system integrators” under the Forum to be held on 22nd September in Moscow and present the advanced developments of Intel Corporation at its stand, including the microcomputer Intel Compute Stick and mini PC Intel NUC and Digital Signature solutions. The integrator section shall be dedicated to the topic of efficient use of large data, generated by the Internet of Things, their processing and business application.
Further a press conference shall be held under the Forum, where MERLION as the exclusive distributor of Digma in Russia shall present the world’s first tablet PC operating on Tizen 3.0 OS with a totally new architecture. The model has been made for the corporate customers, who have heightened requirements to the stability of operation and security of the operating system and applications.
Among the partners of the Forum “Internet of Things” were the leading Russian development institutes of IT industry viz. Skolkovo, Innopraktika, Internet Initiatives Development Fund and Information Democracy Fund, and well-known industrial associations like RAEC, 4CIO, Russoft and Infoforum.
As part of the event the representatives of the leading IT companies and government institutions (including the Federation Council) as well as experts of the largest trade organizations shall discuss the prospects and special aspects of development of the Industrial Internet, Industry 4.0, Digital Sovereignty, Russian software and hardware, Smart Cities, Telematics and М2М, Cybersecurity and Corporate Mobility.
The representatives of the IT industry shall demonstrate the readymade solutions from the Internet of Things designed for different sectors of the economy like Public Security, Education, Medicine, Transport and Housing and Public Utilities.
The Forum “Internet of Things” shall be held on September 22 at the Media center of the Russia Today information agency under the auspices of the Russian Venture Company, Rostelecom and Samsung Corporation.
