MERLION awards the partners, who promote HPE products in Russia

Ten Russian companies have been the vendor and distributor award winners based on performance in 2016.

MERLION, the leading Russian VAD-distributor, awarded its partners who had achieved the biggest successes in the sale and introduction of products by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE), one of the largest global manufacturers of corporate IT-solutions.

More than one hundred chief executives of the most successful Russian companies, who together with MERLION had made substantial contribution in promoting HPE solutions in Russia, were invited to participate in the ceremonial event. The distribution company MERLION expressed its sincere gratitude to all of them for the joint business development and forecasts at least the equal and successful continuation of cooperation in the following year. Individual prizes were awarded to the partners, who had won in the special nominations, related to the active promotion of HPE product lines, development of industry expertise and several others:

  • ROSTEKHALLIANCE was acknowledged as the best partner for "Servers" line.
  • REDSYS as the best partner for DSS line.
  • SONET as the best partner for Network equipment line.
  • I-Teko as the best partner for Software line.
  • Inline Group received the award for the best industry solution.
  • Impulsetekh was named as the best new partner.
  • VARUM was awarded for profound expertise.
  • AMT GROUP was awarded for innovative approach.
  • Factor-TS was awarded for the contribution to joint business development.
  • K-Group was commemorated in the nomination "For the fastest growing business"

The businessmen present at the HPE and MERLION event characterized the year 2016 as difficult, but positive for the IT-market, which showed the growing interest of customers (both the representatives of government institutions and commercial organizations) to the corporate IT-solutions on the whole and HPE products in particular. 

The representatives of the system integrators noted a significant surge in interest for HPE server solutions and DSS in 2016 and were hopeful that the vendor's network equipment shall catch up with this tendency in the forthcoming year. Moreover, a stable increase in demand for consultancy services, related to the optimization and upgrade of the business processes and IT-infrastructure has been noted in Russia. The partners of MERLION had highly appreciated the growing activity of HPE distributor and vendor in the plan of conducting training events and specified the notable increase in the quality of seminars and trainings. The integrators expressed general confidence that today it is the correct approach for training sales managers and technical personnel in particular that allows IT-companies to augment sales. 

The event participants named MERLION as their key partner for promoting HPE products in Russia. The high professionalism of the entire distributor team was noted, starting from the product managers and ending with the technical experts, and synergism of the distributor and vendor, making possible the implementation efficiency of the projects for implementing corporate IT-solutions.
