The MERLION and Silverhof companies have signed an agreement about the transfer of trademark.
MERLION, the leading Russian broadline distributor, and Silwerhof have announced that they reached an agreement. The parties signed an agreement about the transfer of the Silwerhof/Сильверхоф/SILWERHOF™ trademark by the trademark owner to the benefit of MERLION.
As a result of this transaction, MERLION expands its range of stationery goods, its market presence zone and reinforces its position as a distributor of goods for children, schools, creativity as well as office supplies.
Silwerhof is a well-known brand that has been represented on the Russian market since 2005. The goods produced under this trademark are very in-demand stationery goods which are geared to the maximum to the preferences of Russian consumers. The Silwerhof goods are accessible to a broad spectrum of buyers due to optimal quality to price ratio.
“Silwerhof is a popular stationery brand,” Svetlana Baskakova, the MERLION stationery goods procurement director, has noted. “The trademark possesses a long-established well-deserved reputation and a well-balanced range of goods. This agreement will permit us to offer an even wider range of products to our partners for optimal prices.”
Currently more than 1000 articles of Silwerhof goods are represented in the MERLION catalog, from various paper and stationery goods to children’s craft goods. After the transfer of the Silwerhof trademark to the ownership of MERLION, this range is to be renewed and expanded taking into account the changing requirements of the market.
