MERLION receives the platinum status of Oracle partner

MERLION, the largest VAD distributor on the Russian market, confirmed its status of Oracle's platinum partner and received the vendor's award for the largest transaction in the CIS region in the ExaStack segment.

Let us recall that MERLION received a direct contract with Oracle in 2011 after the transaction to acquire the distribution business belonging to the Group of Verysell Companies, known in the market under the trademark "Verysell Distribution".

MERLION was awarded for the ExaStack segment. It combines strategically important Oracle technologies and the most successful infrastructure solutions, including the Oracle Exadata Database Machine, Oracle Exalogic Elastic Cloud, Oracle Exalytics.

MERLION, as a vendor, pays special attention to the ExaStack segment. For example, in 2014 it launched a specialized Exatraining site for training of partner integrators. Thus, the Oracle award "For the largest transaction in the ExaStack segment" is a logical outcome of the dedicated multi-year work performed by the distributor and his partners.
