Russian IT market moves toward growth

Analytical company IDC reported on the demand recovery on the IT market after a long decline and a decrease in sales. The results of the Q4 2016 suggest the increase in sales in the IT sector as of early 2017. In particular, the data on the supply of smartphones, PCs, cloud services and printing devices confirms positive dynamics.

Notebook market sharply goes up in March

According to the analytical company ITResearch, the Russian notebook market showed phenomenal annual growth of 41% (!) in March with almost 280 thousand devices sold. However, the March of 2016 was not very good, and this growth is compared not with the best period, but the sharp increase in numbers is still obvious.

Notebook market increases sharply in the first quarter

According to the analytical company ITResearch, 660.9 thousand notebooks were sold on the Russian notebook market for a total of 26.1 billion rubles in the first quarter of 2017. Thus, the weighted average price of the device amounted to 39.5 thousand rubles. The growth was 16.9% compared to the same quarter of 2016. The market demonstrates such high dynamics for the first time in the last few years.

Results of 2016 on the Russian UPS market

After several years of continuous decline, the Russian UPS market finally showed signs of increase in 2016. Of course, the growth dynamics does not seem to be outstanding, but it is positive, although at the beginning of the year, it was precariously to talk about a possible growth in the market against the backdrop of a collapse in oil prices. A total of 1.08 million AC UPSs for the amount of 292.6 million dollars were sold in Russia in 2016. Compared to 2015, the market has grown by 4.5% in pieces and by 9.2% in money (data from ITResearch).

Projectors market returns to growth

According to the analytical company ITResearch, the Russian market of projectors sold about 6.5 thousand devices for a total of 6.3 million dollars in March of 2017. Compared with February of this year, sales have increased by significant 2.5 thousand units, or more than 60%. The annual dynamics was also good enough. Compared with March 2016, sales grew by about 17%. At the same time, analysts are uncertain about further upward trend on the market.
