Russian PC market has grown dramatically
IDC summed up the results of the Russian PC market research for Q1 2017, which give about 971 thousand desktop and laptop PCs shipped to Russia for the respective period. This is an increase of 18.3% compared to the same period in 2016. The top five ranking includes nearly the same companies as a year ago. Lenovo has ranked the first (22.8% of all PCs shipped during the reporting period), followed by HP Inc. (22.3%), Acer (10.9%), ASUS (7.2%) and Dell (6.6%) <...> The segment of desktops decreased by 4.5% in the first quarter with a total of 375 thousand pieces. Lenovo is also the first in this segment; HP Inc is the second, followed by iRU, DEPO Computers and Acer.
UPS market best sellers are the same
According to the annual "Best Seller of the Year" rating by the «IT-Market Best Sellers» magazine, the unrivalled best seller on the 2016 Russian UPS market was the Schneider Electric APC BE700G-RS for the third year in a row. The model IPPON Back Verso 600 lagged behind, also being in the top three for a third time. IPPON Back Office 600 model took the third place as a year ago, so the overall rating has not changed.
Russian UPS market has grown dramatically

According to the analytical company ITResearch, the sales of laptops in Russia significantly decreased in April as compared with the vigorous March and were even slightly lower than in February. Stores have been emptied before the spring-summer recession during the mass sales of last month, resulting in lower sales in April with just over 200,000 devices. However, by April 2016, the dynamics remained high with more than 25% of the growth.
Printer prices rise
According to the analytical company ITResearch, the average cost of laser printers (printers and multifunction devices) on the Russian market increased from $140 at the beginning of the 2016 year to $250 by the end, which is nearly 80%. Color laser devices have risen in price by average more than a third (in dollars). This led to an increase in money volume by 4.6% compared to 2015 (up to 328.5 million dollars).
Russian market of printing devices significantly grows in money
IDC research results revealed, that in Q1 2017, the Russian market of printing devices increased by 2.1% in unit terms and by 23.2% in money terms as compared to the same period of the last year. This period was marked by 459,031 MFPs, printers and copiers shipped to Russia, amounted to $ 112.50 million, while the average price per device increased by 20.7% compared to Q1 2016.

According to ITResearch, Russia sold 8,17 thousand information panels (LFD, professional displays of more 32 inches, excluding computer monitors) in Q1 2017. The market grew by almost 35% in pieces and 30% in money compared to Q1 2016.
Results of 2016 in the Russian projector market

The market has demonstrated a YoY positive trend with a 15.7% growth in physical terms, and a 13.1% growth in money. It should be noted that these values are in the range forecasted by analysts who expected the market to grow in 2017 by 10-15% - they are even near at its upper border.
Projector market recovery slows down
According to the analytical company ITResearch, about 5.3 thousand devices were sold in the Russian projector market in April 2017 amounting to 5.6 million dollars. Compared to March of the current year, the market has noticeably decreased by about 18%, but a YoY trend remains positive. Compared to April 2016, sales increased by about 9%.
