MERLION is the official distributor for Ubiquiti in Russia and the CIS

MERLION, the leading Russian VAD-distributor, announces the signing of an agreement with the world leader in low-cost network solutions for wireless access providers, Ubiquiti Networks (UBNT). This agreement is open-ended, it gives MERLION the status of the “Official Ubiquiti Distributor in Russia and the CIS” and covers the entire range of the manufacturer’s network equipment.

The official distributor status ensures the partners the availability of Ubiquiti solutions in stock or on order, as individual shipments under projects, and MERLION’s marketing support. The MERLION Engineering Technical Center (TC) specialists are ready to assist the partners and the customers with consulting services on the pre-project survey, calculating the equipment characteristics and selecting the configuration. The Distributor will assist in training both partner companies’ sales managers and engineers.

MERLION’s product portfolio has already been enriched by Ubiquiti products: Wi-Fi bridges with a range of 1 to 50 km, access points, routers, switches, antennas, amplifiers, cables, accessories needed for building LAN networks. The partners’ corporate customers have an access to solutions for creating seamless networks of warehouses, enterprises, hotels, and restaurants, as well as for building video surveillance and access control systems.

MERLION is already witnessing the first results of cooperation – despite the fact that Ubiquiti products appeared in the goods catalog only a couple of months ago, they immediately found their market among the partners, and there are all the prerequisites that the demand is sure to increase. Ubiquiti points out that “MERLION is one of the most powerful players on the Russian IT market and expects a significant increase in sales in Russia; to ensure that a variety of joint marketing activities has already been planned.”
