MERLION signed a direct agreement with Dahua Technology

MERLION, the largest Russian Broadline Distributor and one of the VAD-distribution market leaders, signed a direct agreement with a new vendor – the Chinese company Dahua Technology, one of the leading players on the technical security solutions market. Under the terms of the agreement, MERLION received the Dahua official distributor status in Russia and the CIS.

Dahua Technology is one of the largest manufacturers of video surveillance, security systems, and “smart home” solutions. The company’s staff exceeds 10 thousand employees, and its turnover is over $1.6 billion. According to IHS 2016 report, Dahua ranks second in the world by market share in its segment. The revenue received by the company from equipment sales allows it to rank fourth on the “a&s Security 50” list where the leading security system manufacturers are represented. The Dahua assortment includes solutions for organizations of all sizes, from small firms to the largest enterprises and holdings. The Dahua number of customers includes government agencies, banks, transport companies, hotels, and companies from other industries in different countries of the world.

In view of the fact that the security market in general, and video surveillance system market in particular, are among the most stable and promising in Russia, the partnership with technology leaders in this sphere is one of the most important components of MERLION strategy.
