An Official Status for Russian Partners of MERLION

In response to the growing needs of dealers to build a long-term partnership with the company, MERLION, the leading Russian distributor of computer and digital devices, announces the introduction of an official MERLION partner status.

This status officially recognizes the existing business relations between the distributor and a dealer. Good business figures, such as purchase volume from MERLION, growth rate, etc., and a dealer’s openness are essential to be granted this status.

In his comments on the need to introduce this status, Mr. Igor Petrov, the CEO of MERLION, emphasized, “The official MERLION partner status is intended to enhance the existing relations between the company and its most efficient dealers, especially regional ones. For many computer companies, direct partnership with the leading IT distributor not only officially shows business efficiency and sustainability, but also guarantees certified products of leading manufacturers in the world IT market.”

About three hundred MERLION partners in and outside of Moscow will be granted authorized certificates effective from September 2005. The MERLION authorized certificate is valid for a year.
