MERLION has been recognized as one of the best distributors of Hewlett-Packard personal systems in 2006.
On January 24, Hewlett-Packard reported its fiscal-year 2006 results and named the best partners on the Russian market. The wrap-up ceremony is held every year. The most efficient companies with the best sales volume of HP solutions, incremental distribution channels and increasingly growing presence in different market segments are awarded with a HP partner status.
Due to its sales of HP personal information appliances in 2006, MERLION attained Gold Distributor status, the status of one of the best HP partners.
MERLION and HP signed a distribution agreement in 2005. Today the distribution contract offers MERLION a wide range of products from the world manufacturer. These include desktop PCs, notebook PCs, workstations, monitors and networking products from ProCurve Networking by HP.
The cooperation grows going forward. On February 7, 2007, MERLION and HP announced a new distribution agreement on HP standard servers and data storage (www.merlion.com/press-center/news/news-703/). It is worth pointing out that MERLION System Solutions (http://www.mersyss.ru/), a subsidiary of MERLION for corporate business, became first to sign a distribution agreement on standard servers and data storage after the merger of HP and Compaq in 2001.
