Intel noted MERLION’s outstanding contribution

At Intel distributors meeting during Distributor Enabling Conference (DEC), held on March 4-6 in Monte-Carlo, Monaco, Intel noted MERLION's outstanding contribution to Channel Revenue development in 2007.

DEC gathered Intel’s key partners in EMEA region. At the Conference MERLION received the award for «Outstanding effort in developing Intel Channel Revenue in 2007 Russia/CIS Region».

Official cooperation of the companies began at the end of 2006.

In the last year MERLION more than doubled the volume of Intel products sales in MERLION Channel (for the most part processors).

During 2007 MERLION sold Intel products to about 1,500 IT-companies. Sales geography covered all Russian regions making 180 cities! MERLION has IT-companies of different profiles among its partners dealing with Intel products, such as: federal and regional networks, system integrators, resellers, computer hardware retailers.

It is in MERLION’s plans to achieve new impressive results in 2008. The distributor is focused on processors, mother boards and server equipment from the world producer.
