Both parties have signed a distributor agreement.
In May 2018, MERLION announced the start of the development of its new line of business – the distribution of banking and cash register equipment. The company also reported the signing of the first distribution contracts. Two months later, the company was authorized by Cassida Eurasia to distribute products. The agreement came into force in July 2018 to cover the entire range of products.
“MERLION is not one of our distributors, but this company is the only broad line distributor with the unique credibility and influence on the Russian market”, said Tatiana Melenevskaya, Sales Director for Cassida Eurasia. “In years to come, we are planning to enter new sales markets and increase our market share, and we hope it’s MERLION that will help us out.”

As Cassida’s official distributor, MERLION will supply to Russia the first batches of cash automation solutions (bill and coin counters, counterfeit detectors, and bill sorters) as early as the end of July 2018.
