iRU is in the top five again by desktop PCs supply

iRU continues to occupy the fourth position in the Russian market, according to the IDC analytic report (fourth quarter of 2019).

According to the results of the fourth quarter of 2019, iRU, one of the leading Russian manufacturers of computer equipment, once again entered the top 5 leaders in the supply of desktop PCs. According to an analytical report by IDC Russia (an international research and consulting company that studies the global market for information technology and telecommunications), iRU ranks fourth among the key brands in the desktop segment.

According to IDC PC Quarterly Tracker, about 1.7 million desktop and laptop PCs were delivered to Russia in the fourth quarter of 2019, which is 7.7% more than in the same period in 2018. According to the results of the year, the Russian personal computer market decreased by 7.8% to 5.34 million units compared to the previous year. The first line of leaders is HP Inc. (22.8% of all PCs delivered during the year). This is followed by Lenovo (18.8%), Acer (17%), ASUS (11.4%), and Apple (5.3%).

The supply of desktop PCs in the fourth quarter increased by 5.1% compared to last year and amounted to 564 thousand units. HP Inc., Acer, and Lenovo top the list of leaders in the desktop segment. The top five are iRU (4th place) and Dell (5th place).

The laptop segment increased by 9% in the quarter compared with the same period in 2018. Deliveries amounted to 1.1 million units. The largest numbers of laptops delivered to the Russian market during the reporting period were released under the brand names of Lenovo, HP Inc., and Acer. ASUS and Dell are also among the five leading suppliers in this market segment.

It is worth noting that iRU has maintained its position in the TOP-5 suppliers of desktop computers almost every quarter over the past years.
