About improvements, implementations and growth areas.
At the beginning of 2025, Cactus became part of the Merlion Group of Companies: this led to significant changes and expanded opportunities for the fulfillment provider’s clients and partners. The company continues its dynamic development, offering new solutions in warehouse logistics and e-commerce.
Key changes:
- Expansion of warehouse capacity
Warehouse space of up to 120,000 m2 of class A is now available for partners. Several new warehouses are planned to open in Russian cities in the near future: Yekaterinburg, Krasnodar, Novosibirsk, and St. Petersburg.
- Expansion of the range of services
Cactus has introduced new services aimed at scaling the clients' business:
- "International delivery" - comprehensive services for customs processing, certification and labeling of goods with delivery to the end buyer in Russia;
- "Turnkey online store" - ready-made solutions for launching online trading.
In addition, the list of product categories that the company works with has been expanded (excluding those prohibited by law).
- Optimization and automation of warehouse processes
The following improvements have been implemented:
- adapting storage areas to different dimensions and weight characteristics (DWC);
- applying lean manufacturing principles to minimize losses;
- optimizing processes for preparing goods for shipment, including - allocating dynamic and static zones to manage order volumes and improve operational efficiency;
- integrating with the Mercury electronic accounting system to control the movement of controlled goods of animal origin.
- Development of IT infrastructure
- transferring systems to the Merlion circuit using a powerful server infrastructure and data center, which increased the level of information security of client data;
- increasing IT staff to enhance software solutions;
- integrating with Merlion Group of Companies systems.
- Improvement of customer service
A standardized service system, built on established processes and interaction scripts, has been implemented. Special attention is paid to compliance with SLA terms, which guarantees timely response to customer requests and consistently high service quality.
- Expansion of shipping channels
Integrating with new niche marketplaces and retail chains to expand client sales channels.
Cactus continues to develop in accordance with current industry trends, providing clients and partners with modern and reliable solutions in logistics and e-commerce.
