MERLION revenue for the first year exceeded 300 billion rubles

According to the results of fiscal 2019, the company's revenue increased by 23% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 331.5 billion rubles.

MERLION summed up the results of 2019, which showed revenue growth in all key business areas. Last year, the company introduced two new projects for corporate clients AnalyticsHub and Вuroshop and acquired a controlling stake in engineering company High Energy.

The largest growth in turnoverwas shown by the Broadline Distribution (BLD) Division (31%). The VAD division (it includes the project distribution of IT solutions and various MERLION business projects in the field of IT services) grew by 16% by the same indicator, and the Household Appliances and Electronics (HAE) division - by 10%. Citilink and Positronica retail projects grew by 28% and 30%, respectively. The largest share in the revenue structure in fiscal year 2019 was occupied by Citilink (31.0%) and the VAD (27.2%) and BLD (21.9%) divisions.

By the end of the year, the total area of storage facilities amounted to about 150 thousand square meters. The number of trade names has exceeded 70 thousand items. The total number of employees reached 12 thousand people.

In addition to expanding its product portfolio and logistics capacity, the company continued to open and develop new business lines. In 2019, MERLION's portfolio of assets was replenished with three new projects.

AnalyticsHub is a company created in conjunction with a team of experts working at Terradata. This is a consultancy agency providing services in the field of big data analytics and artificial intelligence. Over the year, the company managed to enter into a number of strategic partnerships, including becoming the official representative of AlphaZetta international consulting network in Russia and the CIS.

High Energy, whose capital MERLION joined in the summer of 2019, is a leader in the design and installation of complex energy systems that are used in data centers and other facilities with a developed IT infrastructure. The total capacity of the designed and implemented projects of the company exceeds 500 MW. In 2019, High Energy became a member of the Russian Data Center Industry Association.

The online store for legal entities, Buroshop (the project was launched on December 12, 2018), allows companies to order any number of goods for office needs with the next day delivery in a few clicks. Key advantages of the project: a wide range of products, a robotic warehouse and fast delivery. In 2020, the product groups presented in the online store were replenished with food.
