The distributor has acquired the Russian company Golder Electronics.
Merlion Group, actively developing its own brands, has acquired Golder Electronics, a company specializing in the production and sale of household appliances in the Russian Federation and the CIS countries. The Agreement was signed in Moscow on July 4, 2024.
Merlion Group has been developing home appliances since 2009 and is one of the most prominent players in this segment.
According to analysts, the demand for household appliances in Russia is steadily increasing, and in Merlion, the category shows a significant rise. The acquisition of Golder Electronics represents a strategic move to bolster Merlion's position in the market further.
Golder Electronics is one of the oldest manufacturers of home appliances, personal care, and premium tableware. The company's portfolio includes the Vitek, Rondell, Maxwell, and Coolfort brands.
