Huawei noted the results of cooperation with MERLION

Every year in spring, Huawei, the world leader in information and communications technology, hosts the Huawei Partner Award ceremony. This year was no exception - but this time online. The company named the partners who provided the most support, as well as those who made a significant contribution to the development of Huawei corporate solutions business in Russia in 2019. MERLION is among the companies nominated for the Huawei Partner Award.

A friend in need is a friend indeed! This brief phrase describes the problematic situation in which not only Huawei, but the entire global ICT industry found themselves in 2019, and the role that our Russian partners played in it. We experienced the most powerful external pressure, which no IT company in the world had experienced before, but at the same time realized that we could withstand it. But more importantly, we have felt tremendous support from our partners. This gave us strength and convinced us that we chose the right path, and now our task is to continue it,” says Xiao Haijun, CEO of Huawei Enterprise in the Eurasia region. - We are very grateful to our Russian partners for the trust they showed us in this challenging time of global uncertainties and trials in 2019, and this time decided to expand the list of companies to a memorable figure of 19. I am sure that many more interesting joint projects, achievements, and victories await us! The vendor's official press release indicates that the number of Huawei corporate customers in Russia over the past year has increased by 16%, and now amounts to more than 1,100 companies. Such indicators allowed the Russian division of Huawei Enterprise to take first place in terms of sales in the company."We are proud to have made a certain contribution to these indicators. In 2019, we managed to achieve excellent results. It is noteworthy that at the end of the year Huawei, in fact, first encountered unprecedented opposition at the global level, and despite everything, continued successfully interact with the Russian market, achieving truly outstanding results against the odds, says Dmitry Spiridonov, Integrated Solutions Purchasing Director, VAD Division, MERLION. “ We thank the Huawei team for high appreciation of our work and express hope for further successful and productive cooperation.”

It is worth noting that the vendor is not the first to highly evaluate the results of cooperation with MERLION. So, at the very first award ceremony for Russian partners of Huawei held in 2016, MERLION was recognized for its high professionalism and contribution to the development of the project business. In 2018, MERLION became the first Russian company in history to receive the title of Excellent Distributor Worldwide, the most prestigious status that the manufacturer gives its key partners all over the world. In 2019, MERLION was declared the best Huawei distributor in Russia.
